Why's Its Different

While Spark and Pro handle most cockpit and fleet needs, Ultra takes on the bleeding edge: multi-sensor fusion, real-time AI inference, complex computer vision, and high-performance ADAS stacks... all within one unified domain.

Instead of OEMs bolting together multiple ECUs, Ultra simplifies integration by consolidating compute-heavy domains into one scalable platform.

Key Functionality

At its core, Ultra is an advanced compute domain for autonomy, ADAS, and next-gen cockpit experiences.

Ultra brings together:

  • High-performance SoCs and GPUs for real-time AI, perception, and ADAS workloads
  • Multi-sensor fusion (cameras, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic) with synchronized time-stamping
  • Fully integrated infotainment, cluster, and driver monitoring stacks
  • Redundant safety processing with ASIL-D compliant pathways
  • PCIe, GMSL, and high-speed Ethernet connectivity for massive data throughput
  • Neural network acceleration and on-board ML model deployment
  • Cloud-connected with edge-to-cloud compute orchestration
  • OTA, FOTA, and ML model update support

It’s a consolidated compute brain, designed for the next generation of software-defined, partially or fully autonomous vehicles.

Silverbox for Improved NVH

With Ottawa Infotainment’s aluminum silverbox design, we fully separate the screen from the compute domain controller. This gives OEMs far greater flexibility in both packaging and performance.

Key Advantages:

  • The silverbox can be mounted in protected zones, fully sealed against water and dust.
  • Separating compute from display reduces vibration impact on sensitive electronics.
  • Screens become thinner, lighter, and easier to package into modern interiors.
  • The aluminum housing acts as a passive heat sink, reducing thermal complexity.
  • Domain controllers can be shared across multiple models, while displays remain fully customizable.

This architecture delivers greater durability, better customer experience, and faster manufacturing integration.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Who is Ultra built for?

OEMs and Tier 1s working on advanced autonomy, complex ADAS stacks, or high-performance digital cockpit systems where multiple domains need to be unified.

How does Ultra reduce integration complexity?

Instead of splitting autonomy, ADAS, and infotainment across multiple ECUs, Ultra merges compute into a single platform, reducing software fragmentation, wiring, cost, and validation time.

Can Ultra handle real-time sensor fusion?

Yes. Ultra is optimized for synchronous data from cameras, radar, LiDAR, and in-cabin sensors, supporting high-speed fusion for perception and safety-critical decision-making

Does Ultra support safety standards?

Absolutely. Ultra supports ASIL-B safety paths depending on integration, including redundancy and fail-operational design requirements. Contact us if you require ASIL-D.

Is Ultra compatible with DragonFire OS?

100%. Ultra is fully integrated into DragonFire OS, allowing rapid deployment, simplified over-the-air updates, and real-time cloud analytics for both cockpit and autonomy workloads.
