Key Partnerships
Pre-Integrated Solutions.
We've already done the heavy lifting. DragonFire OS comes with a growing list of industry-leading partners and technologies pre-integrated: accelerating development, reducing risk, and getting our customers to production faster.

Safety Functional HMI
Ottawa Infotainment has partnered with DiSTI Corporation, the global leader in safety-critical HMI development, to integrate their flagship GL Studio® directly into DragonFire OS. This native integration allows our OEM customers to rapidly leverage DiSTI’s proven HMI framework, delivering production-grade user interfaces while reducing development timelines.
DiSTI’s leadership in safety-critical software, supporting compliance with ISO 26262, ASIL standards, and FMVSS regulations, brings immediate confidence for programs requiring functional safety and certification. With GL Studio fully integrated inside DragonFire OS, our customers gain a shortcut to safety-qualified HMIs without sacrificing customization or design flexibility.
This partnership reinforces Ottawa Infotainment’s core mission: helping automakers focus on delivering standout user experiences, while we handle the complexity underneath.

Automotive Cyber Security
The collaboration between Ottawa Infotainment and VicOne marks a pivotal step toward redefining trust and safety in the connected mobility ecosystem. As vehicles evolve into complex digital platforms, cybersecurity has become a core pillar of innovation. This partnership integrates VicOne’s cutting-edge threat detection and data protection capabilities directly into DragonFire OS, ensuring automakers and fleet operators can deploy systems that are not only intelligent and connected but also resilient against the growing landscape of cyber threats.
By combining Ottawa Infotainment’s expertise in infotainment architecture with VicOne’s proven cybersecurity framework, both companies are laying the groundwork for safer and smarter vehicle experiences. This collaboration reflects a shared vision: empowering the next generation of vehicles to protect drivers’ data as rigorously as they protect their safety on the road.

Accelerating Automotive UI Validation
Elektrobit and Ottawa Infotainment are collaborating to shorten automotive UI development cycles by enabling faster validation of Figma-based designs on Android running on production-intent hardware. By combining EB civion Creator with the DragonFire Pro domain controller, OEMs and Tier 1s can evaluate usability and performance earlier, reducing rework and accelerating time to vehicle integration.

Expanding Modular EE Architectures for SDV
Ottawa Infotainment and Pektron are collaborating to extend DragonFire compatibility across a broad range of body, lighting, access, and control ECUs, enabling a more complete end-to-end EE architecture for Software Defined Vehicles. By standardizing how these distributed modules integrate with centralized DragonFire compute, the partnership helps OEMs build scalable, configurable vehicle platforms without custom engineering for each ECU or vehicle program.

Driver Distraction Safety
SmartSafe brings a patented, hardware-first approach to one of the most pressing challenges in modern vehicles: driver distraction. Designed to physically limit phone interaction while preserving essential visibility, SmartSafe complements software-based safety systems by addressing distraction at its source.
Ottawa Infotainment partnered with SmartSafe to help commercialize the technology and integrate it into production-ready vehicle environments. For OI customers, SmartSafe represents a deployable safety solution that aligns naturally with digital cockpit and SDV architectures, particularly for fleets and commercial vehicles where safety outcomes matter most.
Together, SmartSafe and Ottawa Infotainment enable OEMs and Tier 1s to adopt a proven, intuitive distraction-reduction system that fits seamlessly into modern vehicle interiors and safety strategies.

Roadside Collision Avoidance
Ottawa Infotainment has integrated Emergency Safety Solutions (ESS) and their H.E.L.P.™ Alert Network directly into DragonFire OS — enabling automakers to deploy connected roadside emergency alerts seamlessly into the vehicle experience.
ESS delivers next-generation safety technology designed to reduce roadside collisions by providing real-time digital alerts to approaching drivers. Through our integration, DragonFire OS allows OEMs to incorporate ESS’s connected safety platform with minimal engineering effort — bringing advanced hazard alerting, V2X-ready signaling, and compliance with new safety mandates directly into production infotainment systems.
With ESS pre-integrated, Ottawa Infotainment customers can future-proof their vehicles with life-saving technology — while staying ahead of evolving regulatory requirements.

Voice Assistance with AI
Ottawa Infotainment has strategically collaborated with Sensory Inc., a global leader in embedded voice AI, to integrate their TrulyHandsfree® voice recognition technology directly into DragonFire OS.
With Sensory pre-integrated, DragonFire OS gives OEMs access to ultra-low-latency, wake-word, and natural language capabilities that operate fully on-device — eliminating cloud dependencies and ensuring privacy, reliability, and lightning-fast responsiveness. Whether it’s voice-activated controls, personalization, or hands-free safety features, Sensory’s advanced neural network models allow automakers to offer world-class voice experiences with minimal hardware overhead.
The result: production-ready voice control that’s deeply embedded into the vehicle platform, optimized for embedded hardware, and fully aligned with global automotive safety and privacy standards.

Driver Monitoring System
Smart Eye’s industry-leading Driver Monitoring System (DMS) is fully integrated into DragonFire OS, enabling OEMs to easily meet evolving safety standards like Euro NCAP while enhancing in-cabin safety and user experience. Our collaboration simplifies hardware and software integration, accelerating adoption of AI-powered driver monitoring directly into production programs.
